Catching dreams – Iita Villiina Jaakonaho

To find the right dreams to chase is not always as easy as one thinks. But eventually you’ll end up to a place where you feel you belong. 

Iita Villiina Jaakonaho (b.1996) Is a glass artist and a craftsman. Glass has been a part of her life since 2015 when she started her glass journey in Finland. Coming from the very North, she gets inspired by the forests and the northen nature but a big part of her art is inspired by the childhood and the ways she used her imagination that time. 

For Iita, working with glass is a way to keep on playing and imagine.

In the exhibition ”Catching dreams” she presents a variation of works wich all carries her ”Formspråk” -Your own recognizable style each artist lands to and feels like home in.
