"Komorebi" Pastelpink and White vases 🍁🍁🍁🍁
In the middle of the sad, grey winter, ankle-deep in muddy snow, I am dreaming about when the sun will finally come out of hiding and I can take a proper walk around my neighborhood without it feeling like an Antarctica mission. April is the time when it actually starts to feel like life comes back to nature (and me, even tho I take my vitamins). But besides that...
I can`t wait to properly debut these two (and many more) in April at @gallerihantverket in the heart of Stockholm. It`s gonna be a bliss 🤍 Hope to yee you there! 🤍

Motif Series 🌷
Transparent magenta, creamy opal white and azure blue colours, paired with patterns inspired by Hungarian stitching patterns from folk culture. An inspiration I never thought I would follow or include in my work deliberately, but seeped in unconsciously with the tradition in which I was brought up. It feels natural and comforting to remake them somehow, the abstract flowers I`ve seen around, on dresses, tablecloth and ceramics, and idenfied as my nation`s craft. It is a first step for me to see how the glass takes it - with my technique - , a subtle but unconventional implementation of these motifs. We will see how it will transform in the future 😊

"Orchidea Fortuna" my biggest yet networked borosilicate sculpture - wallpiece. It is about 60x65 in diameter and is attached to a black canvas (which I have built myself). I loved making this piece, so many tiny details and hidden delicate shapes - and also many many hours, technical knowledge and skill went into this process. I`ve learned so much along the way!
And the name? The LUCK Orchid! Because I sure don`t only speak for myself if I say that you need a lot of luck for glass 😅

"Papilio Aurealis" (Golden Butterfly)🦋
The title is in faux latin to mark the newly discovered exotic species of butterfly made of glass. With this piece (and many more), I`m reaching back to the starting point of science, where naturalists have tried to tackle the monstrosity of nature by creating perfect archetypes. They intended to present the immense variability of species in one example, thus creating an imaginary, highly edited and perfect specimen that can represent the essence of a creature.
First presented at Sintra Gallery @sintragbg in Gothenburg during my solo show this summer.
